my weekend and the days before those weekends
has been nothing short of spectacular!
especially of course, my d&d night.
everyone laughed, cheered, screamed, won something
and went back happy and quite wasted.
not in a drunken way lah!
Expectedly, everyone dressed to their nines but unexpectedly
those nominated for best dressed award were the ones
who wore traditional clothing. anything "metamorphosis" about that?
conspiracy conspiracy. it was all about that, that night.
we(me,hana & ana) were the few star karats who were late
good thing our table was just near the door.hah.
the best thing was when everyone was soo entertained by the host
that we laughed and laughed till we couldn't stop, like
literally. everything was just tickling our funny bone
that we were so ticklish the whole night.
and that wasn't all!
Our table was THE luckiest table
of all the other 40++ tables because out of the 9 of
us, 4 of us won the top 10 lucky draw prizes!
and that ehem, includes me! hehe. we'll go to that later.
then there was the not-ouh-so-great dinner. -shrugs- who cares.
then what is dinner without a dance ey?
the lot of us, including our very fierce very stern and very single
sister(very high ranked nurse clinician in the ward) went wild
on the dancefloor. it was awkward to be dancing with one of
your "boss" ok.
but she was fun!really sporting and THEN we had fun.
we boogied to really retro music, twist anyone?
but hell, it was hilariously great.
especially dancing with the star winner. haha.
and what is all this talk without pictures right?
thanks to hana, you will have a clear view of
that memorable night. i tell you,
everyone was so jealous of our table. oh well..

Ok remember the lucky draw thing?
K, the 10th prize was a home theater system
and one of our members in the table,ana, won it.
so that kinda started our hysterical screamings
for our number to win. and so you know
the host will say the prizes first and then will
put his hand in the bowl and pick a number.
so it went a bit like this lah.
Host: Ok the next prize,
yet another home theater
system from pioneer.
So who will it be this time?!
(haha, i add2 only.)
Then he will gaul gaul and pick a number.
Then he will say the number ouh-so-slowly
and us being girls will screamed at every number lah kan.
and by the 4th number, alamak our table again!!!
wah the sound i tell you. is the most deafening thing
you will ever hear lah.
so everyone else kinda feel the luck coming in to us
like one of us surely gonna win big tonight.
and thennn the next prize,
Host: ok this is a $400 voucher from ntuc,
can last you one year back and forth back and forth.
Immediately, after settling down from the previous screamings,
Me: ok this one i dont want.
(so i continue to talk and talk,thinking who would win
this prize, a makcik maybe, confirm happy.)
Host: 0....4....0.........5!!!
Me: oh my gooooooooood. my number!
alah..can i not go?
(while all my friends keep on laughing at me!!)
wah thanks eh.
i know lah i like to go ntuc, but i dont need $400to spent in there! aiyo.
kk, then after all those laughter aside..
we went to the grand prize.
to make the long story short.
the 1st prize was a freaking $2000 travel voucher
and you dont need to be smart to know
which table won again. specifically who
would be JOY, who was sitting beside me
and out of sheer excitement i hugged her head
and bounced up and down when
it was her number.
i know i know great picture. thanks to me!haiya. why didnt I get that prize??now she's either going phuket or bangkok!lucky ass u.heh.

I really think that we've been attacked by the
lucky bug cause before this lucky draw,
me and babe were around The Cannery and there
was a muay thai roadshow.
They were giving away free tickets for the grand event
at the later part of the month for those who played a game.
i was sort of sabo-ing him cause i can see he really
wanna go but too shy to try, so i pointed at him lor
when the host ask for voluenteers.
it was really simple. pick two blue balls in a bag full of red balls.
and he picked two blue balls!
so unbelievable! that boy was sooooooo happy
he was speechless when the host gave him the tickets.
i think i displayed more enthusiasm than him by my squealings.
and the next few people didnt even get ANY blue balls.
and so we're going to the Muay Thai Explosion
this 31st! Exciting i hope. :)
